LG Gram 17 (2021) laptop with 11th Gen Intel Core i7, military-grade body launching in India soon.

Amazon has put out a teaser for the LG Gram laptop. It is said to come with the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. Due to the recurring losses, LG made an exit from the smartphone business earlier this year. LG’s other products are more popular and successful. One of them, the LG Gram laptop, has been selling in markets like the US.

The South Korean company is now all set to expand its ventures in India, into the PC market. Amazon has teased that the launch of the LG Gram laptop in India will be taking place soon. The laptop is “light as ever” and will run an Intel Core i7 processor. Another interesting feature is the military-grade durability that Gram is said to come with.

After discontinuation of the launches of any new phones, LG is now shifting its focus to India’s PC market, and is currently in the most interesting phase ever. Brands such as HP, Dell, and Lenovo have all doubled down on their laptop lines, aggressive players like Xiaomi have disrupted the market with their product pricing.

Xiaomi’s entry into India’s PC market was followed by various other brands, such as: Nokia, Vaio, and Fujitsu. They saw an opportunity to tap a customer base that was left uncharted, caused by the pandemic to take up work-from-home.

LG already sold Gram laptops in India, but they are not as popular. Due to the wave of fresh launches that has brought its focus back on laptops, it is a good opportunity for LG to push more of its Gram laptops. The Amazon teaser does not say what Gram laptop it is, but it is very likely to be the Gram 17 (2021) that arrived in January earlier this year. It is an upgrade to the original LG Gram 17, launched last year.
