Apple iPhone 13 Uses New Technology to Enable Texting, Calling without network!

Apple’s iPhones are known for their amazing picture quality, the iPhone devices are said to be the combination of a computer, iPod, digital camera and cellular phone. All into one device with a touchscreen interface. As the time rolls the giant is launching its fresh invention the iPhone 13. This time blessing the device with a technology that will enable you to text and call without network!

A renowned analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo believes the iPhone 13 had a chance to come with a low-earth-orbit (LEO) satellite communication feature. Which will help with calls and send SMS in an area with spotty network signals.

Kuo, in his investor note as seen by 9to5Mac, said the LEO technology can be a massive upgrade to how iPhones have dealt with cellular connectivity. It practically permits the device to establish a communication that is satellite-based. Even outside the standard 4G or 5G network range.

Back in the year 2019, it was reported that Apple may use the LEO satellite communication mode in the iPhone for fast data transfer.

This became the first time we have heard about the feature likely to be implemented on the upcoming iPhone since then. Apple might introduce the LEO technology to the rumoured AR headset, Apple Car, and other Internet of Things products as well.

The LEO satellite communication feature will be feasible because of the Qualcomm X60 baseband modem chip. This chip will support communication over satellite through a sort of customisation.

LEO mode will allow the exchange of calls and text. At the moment, it’s not clear if these two features will work with Apple services like – iMessage and FaceTime, or if Apple may use proxy satellite communication to regular network towers to beam information to any device. The latter makes more sense since it seems like a feature meant for emergencies. There is no information about Apple charging its users for this service.

The iPhone13, on the other hand, is going to be an accumulative upgrade. Some rumours imply that it may be called the iPhone 12S instead of the iPhone 13, because of how Apple classifies its iPhone models each year.

The iPhone 13 is rumoured to come with a small notch in its OLED display. There may be four models this time as well: the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The Pro models are said to come with a 120Hz ProMotion LTPO OLED display, manufactured by  Samsung for Apple.

The cameras on the iPhone 13 will bring feature enhancements to the image quality. These changes might not seem so big. The iPhone 13 is expected to come with the Apple A15 Bionic processor.
